| Living Memorial |
|
| To some people the
idea of a living obituary or living memorial may seem morbid
or unusual. In today’s world people are taking responsibility
for their own affairs in the event of their death. Newspapers
and broadcasters have done this for years. They have always
had pre-written obituaries for most famous people. Many of
you will have seen the “premature” death notices
for HRH the Queen mother and Bob Hope. ourpetrem offers a unique service,
the only one in the world. You can create your own living obituary
for all to see. Look upon it as the ordinary persons who’s
who. You will be the pioneers of a process that will become “normal” in
years to come. There may be a personal reason for you to want
to create your own obituary, for example illness. This will
help you gain comfort and satisfaction. You can help future
generations understand their relatives and family history.
Who was who? Who did what? What were they like?
We like to focus on the genealogical and ancestry
values of creating a living obituary. Your life story is amazing.
It is unique. You have an amazing story to tell.
Share your experiences, history, feelings, thoughts
and memories
You are the most valuable thing on this earth,
celebrate your life
What should I include?
1. What were the main events in your life? Tell
us stories, what were your thoughts and feelings?
2. What schools did you go to? What did you gain?
3. What hobbies did you have? Were there any special memories you want to share?
4. What career did you follow? Was it an enjoyable life?
5. What about your personal life. Was it enjoyable and rewarding?
These are just a few ideas to get you started.
You have achieved a great deal. Let others enjoy your life.
A living obituary is your chance
to celebrate your life.
Please Note:
When creating a living Tribute you will need to select "Living" from
the status drop down box.
The Tribute will be displayed
as living until such time we are notified by a relative or
solictor. At which point it can be moved to one of our other
sections. |
